Mission Statement
MiCom 2011 will be a conference on the topic of microbial communication and proceeds the great success of MiCom 2010. The conference will focus on many aspects of microbial communication and covers actual themes on the fields therein combined with state of the arts techniques.
MiCom 2011 is a conference organized by students, for students and supported by the Jena School for Microbial Communication (JSMC). It is our ambition to create a fruitful framework for scientific discussions and presentations for young researchers and renowned scientists. Thus, we aim to deliver a conference that brings PhD students together with experts in their respective fields and facilitates interdisciplinary science and communication. Furthermore, we aim to encourage networking and social development within research, in the hope that future collaborations may benefit.
By attending MiCom 2011, participants will broaden their understanding of all aspects within their fields of research and gain insight into the global topic of microbial communication. We hope that you will join us at MiCom 2011 to become familiar with many different aspects of microbial communication and engage with your future colleagues.
